Beyond Me

Within I discover the other me,

The one I aspire to be

Her spirit resounds so true and loud

Unrestrained and fearless in a crowd

She fearlessly voices her mind

Leaving all constraints far behind

She follows her heart’s desires

Freedom she does inspires

She’s a plethora of laughter and joy

Her life she truly enjoys

She’ll do the craziest things

Isn’t afraid to spread her wings

She forgets the bad

leaving behind every sting

In the moments she's had

Only joy does she bring.
