Side Character in Life

All everyone wants is to be the main character

To be the one everybody’s rooting for

To be the one who’s always important and more

And maybe most of us do feel that we are the main characters of our own life

That we are that one person who saves everyone from a gun or a knife

But there are the rest of us who don’t feel the same

Maybe because we are not always the winners of the game

We are not the hero/heroine that always does the right thing

We might not sound exceptional when we sing

We make mistakes

To be brave, sometimes our hand shakes

We are sometimes quiet

Everything doesn’t magically become right

Don’t get me wrong

It isn’t like we don’t belong

I’m not saying we aren’t important at all

We do play a role even if it’s small

Yes the protagonists do hold importance

But we also give a magical performance

Without us everything would be incomplete

It would all be boring with no fire and no heat
